Valencia have revealed the cover art for their upcoming full-length, Dancing With A Ghost exclusively on Altpress. Guitarist Brendan Walter told us, "This new record deals a lot with the concept of change—the kind of change that happens in your life and all around you, transforming who you were into who you want to be. The title is all about fighting with your past self and trying to become a better person. We felt like the imagery of dreaming of a lion is a very powerful way of displaying our idea of past demons haunting you. According to extensive studies of dreams, a lion indicates hidden emotional disturbances, revealing that obstacles that must be overcome. On the other hand, it signifies a great driving force of strength and pride. In a time of massive change for our band, we immediately connected with this imagery that our friend Timmy created for us. We hope you love this art as much as we do and can't wait for you all to hear this album that we are so proud of!"
Dancing With A Ghost drops Oct. 12 on I Surrender. Check out the album art below and let us know what you think!
