Failure to reunite after 16-year hiatus

Beloved early-'90s alternative rock outfit Failure are gearing up for a reunion in 2014 after a 16-year hiatus.

According to the band's Facebook page (which was created just two weeks ago), the band have decided to reconvene after disbanding in 1997.

Check out the band's status updates and Facebook banner below:

"ITS on PEOPLE!!"

"THANK YOU FOR ALL THE JOY AND EXCITEMENT TODAY. BEST DAY EVER"

Other details are scarce at this time, but more information will be made available in next couple weeks.

Failure's influence in the AP-universe is still present and audible in many of your favorite bands. Their songs have been covered by everyone from Paramore to A Perfect Circle.

Pop Up Records even released a Failure tribute album a few years ago. You can check out AP's review of the album here.

Be sure to keep checking back at Altpress.com as more details about the reunion become available!
