"DJ Zane Lowe confirmed the news on his late night slot yesterday (3 September), telling listeners that the new track will be his 'Hottest Record' on Monday, and will air alongside an interview with the band's bassist, Pete Wentz.
The new song, which is presumably called 'Centuries', if the casting call is to be trusted, will premiere on Monday, 8 September on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show."

The rumor mills have been running at full capacity this week since images of a supposed music video shoot for a brand new, unannounced single (allegedly titled "Centuries") from Fall Out Boy began to make their way online.
Today, the band have blacked out their social media accounts and uploaded a six-second teaser video of Morse code. It is being claimed that the code is translated into the word 'centuries,' which would essentially confirm the speculated track. You can check out the coded clip below.
What do you think the band are up to?
It should also be noted that in an interview with Billboard earlier this summer, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz revealed that the band were writing new music at the time. He claimed, "We’re writing. I was just listening to something Patrick had written in the trailer. So we’re writing, finishing out the album cycle in South Africa in September and then I feel like the great thing about what internet culture has morphed into, we were goofing around with this weird French producer the other day just for the heck of it. And I feel like you can just put out whatever and as long as it’s authentic to who you are. It can be singles or an EP, it’s just whatever you want."
