Iconic Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger will be pulling double duty on the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 19, serving as both the host and the musical guest. Today it was revealed that Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire will serve as his backing bands on the show, presumably on one song apiece. Via Entertainment Weekly:
"Dave Grohl and Win Butler are about to get hip-shaking, strutting lessons from the best in the biz. EW can exclusively reveal that the Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire will join Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger on Saturday Night Live on May 19. The finale is Jagger’s first time carrying the whole show, though it’s his third time as a musical performer."
Foo Fighters will be performing at Bamboozle the same weekend in nearby Asbury Park, New Jersey.
