He added that DeLonge’s Facebook statement “came as a surprise,” but that he will “never say never to anything, but this is what Blink 182 is right now.”

This past Friday, DeLonge shared a statement to his Facebook page that asserted a multitude of things, including that he met with Hoppus the day before and speaks to drummer Travis Barker “almost every day.”

Blink-182 released their first song without DeLonge last week, along with an announcement of a massive arena tour with A Day To Remember, All Time Low and the All-American Rejects.

Additionally, DeLonge recently told Rolling Stone that he is still a member of the band.
