Hellogoodbye looking to book house shows

Hellogoodbye have some open dates in the calender during their upcoming tour with 3OH!3 and want to play your house. In a recent update on the band's wesbite they explain the situation, requirements for potential house venues, and more. You can read the entire post below [or here]. Fans interested in booking the band can fill out an application here. Hellogoodbye's long awaited second album is expected to be released this fall.

we've been talking about the idea of doing a really killer fun house show tour forever now and we've got alot of days off on the 303 tour, so i figured we should start putting the feelers out, getting some legwork done, seeing if it could happen. basically, if you have a house where you'd be comfortable hosting a show (put your fine china and faberge eggs away) we'd love to bring a bunch of gear into your basement or whatever and play some loud music with your friends and strangers.

IMPORTANT STUFF:

  • location: you'd need to have a house or space that could safely host 50+ people.

  •

  • permission: it'd have to be 100% cool with whoever owns the place and the neighbors. it'd be a bumout to get shut down cause somebody called the cops. we might do acoustic if we have to but otherwise, it'd get pretty loud and you'll have to make sure everyones okay with it.

  •

  • ticketing: we're gonna presale tickets privately on our website, that way no one will get your address till they buy a ticket. we'll cap the tickets at whatever you say you can fit and leave a little room for a few of your friends to come in for free. before the show, we'll send you a guest-list of all the names to expect so we can both check them off as they arrive.

  •

  • legal: if we agree on having a rad party at your place, we'll both sign a simple performance agreement, check it out here.
