Instagram 3.0 was released today.

Instagram says they "focused on the browsing experience" for the newest upgrade, which includes:

• A map-browsing feature that allows users to view photos on a map rather than through scrolling. Geotagging and placing your photos on the map is optional
• More consistent layouts throughout
• Larger photos in grid display
• A new upload screen
• Speed optimizations for faster browsing
• Easier ways to report content, including an option to report individual comments on pictures
