Issues have released an official statement regarding the departure of drummer Case Snedecor. The band attributes the split to an overall "style and musical direction" disconnect, but they assure fans that they are not going anywhere. Check out a snippet of the statement below, and read the full thing here.
"This may be hard for some of you to hear, especially considering the lineup changes we have already experienced in our short history, but we promise we are in this for the long haul and remain committed to making music and meeting as many of you as we can."
Snedecor also released a series of tweets earlier this week in junction with his parting, which you can view below:
To whom it may concern; I will no longer be a part of Issues and I will not be on the upcoming tours that have been announced.— Case Snedecor (@CaseSned) May 25, 2013
As bummed as I am right now, honestly I'm only 19 years old. I just did four months of touring straight with Silverstein, PTV & ADTR.— Case Snedecor (@CaseSned) May 25, 2013
I'm so blessed to be able to do that and hopefully I'll find something else in the near future that will get me back on my feet.— Case Snedecor (@CaseSned) May 25, 2013
The band announced just yesterday that they will be shooting a music video for their single "Hooligans" in Los Angeles and have invited any fans in the area to participate. Check out a video of the band playing the new song live:
