Kid Rock’s latest political “speech” reveals his stance on transgender rights

Though he has yet to properly announce his Senate run, Kid Rock has delivered yet another cringeworthy speech, following his initial “speech” at a show in Grand Rapids last week.

As The Washington Post reports, his speech in Detroit was preceded with this introduction: "Will you please welcome the next senator of the great state of Michigan, Kid ‘motherfucking’ Rock.”

And following the intro, Kid Rock discussed his controversial—even downright offensive—opinions on specific topics, including health care and issues involving single parents.

He did take a stand against white supremacists and what they stand for: “Nazis. Fucking bigots. And now again the KKK? I say fuck all you racists. Stay the hell away.”

However, his sad attempt at crafting a campaign speech takes problematic turns—especially on his opinion regarding transgender rights. While he expresses support for gay marriage, he lashes out against transgender individuals: “Things shouldn't be this complicated and, no, you shouldn't get to choose. Because whatever you have between your legs should determine the bathroom that you use.”

Given President Trump's current ban of transgender military members, it's apparent that our nation would take another step backwards with a Kid Rock Senate run.

He closes off his speech sharing his love for the "red, white and blue," but takes it a step further by mentioning a run for president.

Yet, he's never actually confirmed a Senate run...

So is he running for office? We're still not sure.

Watch his full “speech” below:

At this point, Kid Rock has not filed the appropriate paperwork to run, thus he's in violation of the U.S. election laws at this point if he does decide to try to claim a Senate seat.
