Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn directs debut feature film, ‘Mall’

Linkin Park turntablist Joe Hahn has directed his debut feature film, Mall. The effort will make its big screen debut at an exclusive Nerd HQ screening at Zachary Levi and the Nerd Machine’s fifth annual Nerd HQ. The event will take place on July 24 at San Diego’s Petco Park directly following Linkin Park's mtvU Fandom Awards performance. The showing will then be followed-up by a question and answer session featuring Hahn, producer Sam Maydew (Silver Lining Entertainment), composer Alec Puro and other cast members.

Mall features Vincent D’Onofrio (who pulls triple duty as star/producer/screenwriter), Gina Gershon (Killer Joe), Cameron Monaghan (TV’s Shameless), Peter Stormare (Fargo) and James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom). More information can be found through the film's Facebook and Twitter outlets.

Linkin Park just recently released their latest full-length studio album, the Hunting Party. If you haven't yet, you can pick up the effort now and stream it in full below.
