Michael Cera joins indie supergroup Mister Heavenly for tour

Scott Pilgrim himself, actor Michael Cera, will join indie rock supergroup Mister Heavenly as bassist for the remainder of their current West Coast tour. The band—who signed to Sub Pop—features Honus Honus of Man Man, Nick Thorburn of Islands and Joe Plummer of Modest Mouse. Cera was a surprise member of the band at their first show ever earlier this week at Seattle's Moore Theater. According to a representative for Sub Pop, however, Cera is not a full-time member of the band. Check out photos of the Seattle show here.
