Miss May I to enter the studio this month

Miss May I are planning to enter the studio on August 14 to begin recording their fourth full-length album. The upcoming release is due out in spring 2014 via Rise Records and will be produced by Terry Date (Pantera, White Zombie, Deftones). Colin Richardson (Machine Head, As I Lay Dying) is also mixing the record.

Check out a statement from MMI's Ryan Neff below.

“Miss May I has been a wild ride for all of us since the beginning. From starting out in a basement in a small Ohio town, listening to our favorite bands, and just trying to play shows, all the way up to now, about to record our fourth full length album. As a long time fan, I am ecstatic to announce that we will be working with Terry Date on our next record. Growing up jamming Deftones, White Zombie, and Pantera, it's a dream come true to be working with the man who helped capture some of their greatest work. As if that wasn't amazing enough, we have Colin Richardson in to mix the record who is also a legend in the metal world. So you can all expect some heavy riffage coming your way next year!”
