Morrissey debuts second ‘World Peace’ single, “Istanbul,” along with a spoken word video

Leading up to the release of his tenth full-length album, World Peace Is None Of Your Business, Morrissey has begun premiering new singles, along with spoken word music videos.

Last week, the title track, which the singer had already been performing live on his current tour, arrived, along with a spoken word video featuring Nancy Sinatra. This week, the Pope Of Mope has dropped another track, "Istanbul," with a similar spoken word video to accompany it. A third video, for a song called "The Bullfighter Dies" (which has also become a recent live staple) briefly surfaced earlier this week, but was quickly taken down.

Check out Moz's brand new single, "Istanbul," as well as last week's "World Peace Is None Of Your Business," below:

World Peace Is None Of Your Business will arrive July 15 thorough Harvest Records. The album was produced by Joe Chiccarelli, and recorded earlier this year in France. Notably, it appears to be the singer's first effort in over two decades not to feature former touring guitarist and longtime co-writing partner Alain Whyte, and marks Moz's second-longest gap between releases; his last album, Years Of Refusal, arrived in 2009. World Peace is available to pre-order now in a variety of physical formats and bundles, as well as on iTunes.
