Music photographer Jeremy Saffer to give “Capturing Music” seminar/workshop

Rock photographer Jeremy Saffer has announced that he will join SoundCheck Hollywood for an intimate "Capturing Music: A Music Photography Seminar" on February 9 and 10, 2013.

The photographer, who has recently shot bands such as Black Veil Brides, Coheed And Cambria, Motionless In White and the Misfits and has contributed his work to AP, will give a two-day seminar focusing on the business of and process of musician portrait work for various industry mediums. The first day will focus on learning the processes, then on the second day attendees will receive hands-on experience as they observe a live photoshoot with an artist (TBA) and get to try their hand at it, following Saffer's lead.

Tickets to the seminar are available at the photographer's website for $400.00. Those hoping to attend are encouraged to act quickly; as only 10 spots are open. If you don't have that kind of dough to drop but are a fan of Saffer's work, you can go to SoundCheck Hollywood on February 9 when it will briefly reopen to the public after 6 p.m. for a signing.
