The news of Whitney Houston passing away yesterday at age 48 was a shock to everyone. Houston was an american actress, producer and model. She churned out 11 number one hits, including the widely popular "I Will Always Love You," and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)."
Her rise to fame began in the mid to late 1980s alongside the pop greatness of Michael Jackson and Madonna. She released seven studio albums and three movie soundtrack albums, all of which have diamond, multi-platinum, platinum or gold certification.
