Jim McKenzie of North Carolina has set out to raise $21 million to record a folk album, "Lunar Aid 1985" on the moon via Kickstarter.

If the project succeeds, Kickstarter backers can receive anything from an autographed copy of the album to an acre of the moon. Watch their video proposal on the project below.
