Patrick Stump did an interview with The Gunz Show on Idobi Radio yesterday to talk about his upcoming solo album, Soul Punk. Stump also mentioned that Fall Out Boy, what many think is his "former" band, isn't really after all, and that the band never really "broke up", but are on a break. You can listen to the interview at this link and read an excerpt below.
Fall Out Boy never broke up. That never happened. We really need a sarcasm font on the internet. We [Fall Out Boy] never had that conversation. A lot of kids would come up to me and say "it really sucks you guys broke up". I'm like, "man, unless you know something I don't..." We just went on break, you know, whatever. I just wanted to clear that up.
Patrick Stump's new solo EP, Truant Wave, is available now on iTunes.
