Rage Against The Machine frontman to organize Arizona protest concerts

Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha plans to organize a series of protest concerts, titled The Sound Strike, this July in an effort to boycott the state of Arizona due to its recently passed immigration law. De la Rocha says the protest will attempt, "to isolate the Arizona government but not isolate the people, and especially the organizations that are fighting this on the ground." Artists joining the protest include: Maroon 5, Gogol Bordello, Ben Harper, My Morning JacketPitbull, Steve Earle, Billy Bragg, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Anti-Flag, Throwing Muses, State Radio, Aztlan Underground and DJ Spooky.
