Saosin and Anthony Green have some “new ideas”

A Saosin/Anthony Green reunion is something that has been on the minds of fans for nearly a decade now. Even though Green only released one EP with the band—who then went on to release 2 more EPs and 2 full-lengths with singer Cover Reber—the desire and conversation has never truly faded among core fans.

Now that it’s actually happening in the form of their recently announced reunion shows, the next question for fans would be which songs are they going to play? In a recent tweet, Green answered that question, stating that the band would be performing all of the expected Greenosin favorites: “I Can Tell,” “Mookie’s Last Christmas” and, of course, the Translating The Name EP in its entirety.

But he also said they have some “new ideas” for the shows. This could mean any number of things. It could mean that the band will be playing some of the newer, Cove-era favorites with Green. After all, it would be pretty amusing if the band thought they could get away with not playing “You’re Not Alone” and “Voices.” But when he mentioned new ideas, Green was replying to a fan who asked if they would be playing new material. So, what do you think that could mean? Will we see new Saosin music? Crazier things have happened.
