Slaves (Jonny Craig’s new band) announce debut album title, release date

After teasing their first single last week, Slaves, the new band featuring Jonny Craig, have announced that they will release their debut album, Through Art We Are All Equals, on June 24 via Artery Recordings. Check out an official statement below:

“Slaves have announced that their debut album will be available 6/24/14 via Artery Recordings. The band would also like to announce its hometown CD release show in Sacramento on Friday June 20th at Assembly. ‘Men have been enslaving men for as along as we’ve had gods to hide behind,’ Craig said. ‘Every man is a slave to what we love—whether it be women, drugs, music or sports.’”

The band will release the album’s first single, “The Fire Down Below,” on April 22. Listen to a teaser clip of it below. Starting this May, you can catch the band on tour with Hands Like Houses, Miss Fortune and Alive Like Me.
