The Dismemberment Plan reunite, plan vinyl reissue of “Emergency & I”

Pioneering math-rock band the Dismemberment Plan have announced plans to reunite, at least temporarily, in support of the vinyl release of their classic 1999 album Emergency & I. The album will be pressed by Barsuk Records as a 180-gram double LP with a gatefold sleeve, detailed liner notes and four bonus tracks on the D-side ("The Dismemberment Plan Gets Rich," "Just Like You," "Since You Died," "The First Anniversary Of Your Last Phone Call") and will be in stores January 11, 2011. The D-Plan originally broke up in 2003 before reuniting for two benefit shows in 2007; there is no word whether or not these will be the group's only appearances. Dates:
