Former AP cover stars the Gaslight Anthem have signed to Mercury Records, current home of Neon Trees, Portishead, Noel Gallagher and more. “We can confirm this," says a spokesperson for Gaslight's former label, SideOneDummy Records. "We are super-happy for the dudes in Gaslight and wish them the best!” The band will release their major-label debut and follow-up to 2010's American Slang next year; their final S1D release will be an iTunes Session set to drop digitally on Dec. 13.
