The Smashing Pumpkins to play benefit show for Madina Lake’s Matthew Leone

The Smashing Pumpkins announced today that they will be playing a benefit show for Madina Lake's bassist Matthew Leone, who was hospitalized earlier this month after attempting to diffuse a public, domestic assault. Leone, who has no health insurance, is currently still undergoing surgeries for his injuries. All of the proceeds from the benefit show will go to The Matthew Leone fund at Sweet Relief. The show will be held at the Metro in Chicago on Tuesday, July 27. Tickets are on sale today and can be purchased here.
