This map shows each state’s least favorite artists

Earlier this week, music tech company the Echo Nest's Paul Lamere released a map showing the most distinctive artist for each state (Fall Out Boy as Kentucky’s being a pretty interesting highlight). Now, a new map has been released, showing each state's “most ignored artist,” which you can check out below.

Mostly, the map shows us that a lot of people really don’t give a damn about R. Kelly, but artists like Bon Iver, Radiohead, CHVRCHES, and the Rolling Stones all made appearances.

 

The maps are based on a sample of 250,000 online music listeners. If you missed it, check out the distinctive artists by state map below.
