Thrice frontman suspects the band will record new music, says touring is “very likely”

Thrice, one of the band’s who will definitely influence the inevitable pop-screamo revival, have been on hiatus since 2012. But recently frontman Dustin Kensrue hosted a Reddit AMA where he revealed that the band will likely tour again and not only does he hope they will release more music—he suspects it.

Check out the question and answer from the AMA below:

Fan: Dustin, I just wanted to say that Thrice is one of my favorite bands of all time and your music never gets old no matter how often I listen because each album is so unique. How likely is it that you’ll work on new music or tour again with Thrice? And which of your songs are your favorites/mean the most to you?

Dustin Kensrue: Tour of some kind: very very likely. Recording of some kind: I hope so and suspect yes.

Thrice’s latest proper full-length album, Major/Minor, was released in 2011 via Vagrant Records; however, the band released a live album in 2012, Anthology.
