In a new Instagram post, Tom DeLonge, who recently escaped a California wildfire, announced that Blink-182 were rehearsing and confirmed that “yes, there will be a new [Blink 182] album.” He then also went on to tell fans he was sorry for the wait. So that’s good news. There’s no telling when the band will get around to recording and releasing the album (it is Blink, after all), but it would serve as a their first full-length since 2011’s Neighborhoods.
Check out the post from DeLonge below, and let us know what you think. If you didn’t know, Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus is hosting the inaugural AP Music Awards, which take place on July 21. (You can watch a trailer for the APMAs with Hoppus here.)
