Underoath begin recording first album without Aaron Gillespie
May 25, 2010 by Tim Karan
Underoath have commenced recording their upcoming full-length. According to a tweet, the band started work yesterday with producers Matt Goldman (who helmed the band's past two albums, 2006's Define The Great Line and 2008's Lost In The Sound Of Separation) and Jeremy S.H. Griffith (Saosin, Cool Hand Luke).
The album will be the band's first without drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie who was the band's final remaining original member before leaving the band this past April. Former Norma Jean drummer Daniel Davison was revealed as the new drummer earlier this month. Underoath are hoping to have the album out before the end of the year.
