Weezer announce album release date; tease new song, “Return To Ithaca”

After recently revealing the interesting cover art for their ninth studio album, Weezer have now announce today that they will release Everything Will Be Alright In The End on September 30 via Republic Records. The band had previously released 2010’s Hurley on Epitaph Records.

In a new interview with EW, the band said, “This record sounds like it’s going to have the tight structure of Blue Album with a little bit more abandon like Pinkerton.” The record will be produced by Ric Ocasek, who previously helmed The Blue Album and The Green Album.
