The Loved Ones, Mad Caddies to play live on PunkRadioCast today

Internet punk radio station PunkRadioCast has announced that today at 1 p.m. EST, Fat Wreck Chords bands the Loved Ones and Mad Caddies will both perform live sets on the air, followed by in-studio interviews. The schedule is as follows:

1:00 pm - 1:30 pm EST: The Loved Ones perform live
1:45 pm - 2:30 pm EST: The Mad Caddies perform live
2:35 pm EST: Live to air interviews with both bands

Foo Fighters announce first dates of acoustic tour

Modern rock innovators Foo Fighters have announced the first series of dates for their acoustic tour in support of last year's double-CD effort, In Your Honor. The tour will find the band fleshed out to an eight-piece lineup, with added musicians Petra Haden (violin), Rami Jaffee (keyboards) and Drew Hester (percussion), as well as former Foo Fighter Pat Smear (guitar). The band will be debuting the acoustic songs off In Your Honor for the first time at these shows, as well as reinterpreting a number of tracks from their back catalog.

While only a handful of shows have been announced, more are expected. Timmy Curran will open the July stops; Pixies frontman Frank Black gets the honors for August. Dates:

Sasquatch! Festival adds TV On The Radio, Stephen Malkmus

Organizers of the annual music fest Sasquatch! Music Festival have confirmed the schedule for the 2006 edition. The fest, taking place from May 26-28 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington (outside of Seattle), will feature a large variety of musical acts headlining, from Nine Inch Nails and HIM to Ben Harper and the Flaming Lips to Beck and Death Cab For Cutie.

Fleshing out each day's lineups include ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Queens Of The Stone Age, Pretty Girls Make Graves, the Shins, Constantines, Bedouin Soundclash, the Decemberists, Nada Surf, Rocky Votolato and many more. Recent additions to the lineup include TV On The Radio, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Damien Jurado and Headphones. The fest also promises avant-folk artist Sufjan Stevens' only scheduled concert appearance of the summer.

No weekend passes are currently available for the fest; single-day tickets are on sale now; you can learn more at the fest's MySpace blog. The fest's complete schedule is below:

Daughters announce details of new LP, post new MP3

Providence, Rhode Island's avant-spazzcore collective, Daughters, have announced the details regarding their upcoming second LP. The 10-track album has been titled Hell Songs; it is the follow-up to 2003's Robotic Empire-released Canada Songs and will be released August 8 by Hydrahead. A website for the release has been set up; you can view it here.

The album was co-produced by Andrew Schneider (Cave In, Blue Man Group) and the band; the track "Providence By Gaslight" features guest appearances from three members of Kayo Dot. The band have also posted an MP3 of "Fiery"; you can download that here. The tracklisting is below:
