Panic! At The Disco regain exclamation point, post new demo

Okay, let's recap: This past Monday, Panic At The Disco guitarist/primary songwriter Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker quit the band. Then, hours later, Brendon Urie (vocals) and Spencer Smith (drums) responded to Ross and Walker's departure, assuring fans that PATD will soldier on. Then, this past Tuesday, we brought you exclusive news of Panic's new single. But this trumps all of that: Ladies and gentlemen, the "!" is back. From Panic!'s website:

"Brendon and I have been hard at work in the studio writing and doing demos of new songs for all of you. Here is a clip of a new demo we recorded this past week...it's called 'Oh Glory.

We're really excited about the new songs were working on and can't wait to release more. In a few weeks we'll set out on the Blink-182 tour which is still unbelievable to us. They're the reason I started playing music, and I can't wait to be a part of something so to close me. Check back soon for more updates and our new single 'New Perspective.'

whoa! whoa! whoa! this is actually pretty good i must say. i thought patd lost their sound after the ! left but its back in action and this song clip is pretty amazing :)

Sound's good. I'm sad about Ryan and Jon leaving, but this sounds really good.

I felt bad at first that Ryan and Jon left but now I feel like we are seeing the old Panic again. Which I love. Maybe their departure was the best decision for all of them.

Woo hoo! I'm sad that Ryan and Jon left but at least this demo has the older style. I hated Pretty. Odd.

Nobody is remembering that this is only a demo. They might change it and it might not sound like either of their old CD's

After hearing this it makes it extremely clear why Jon and Ryan left. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is Brendon and Spencer's style whereas Pretty.Odd. was more of Ryan and Jon's style. While the news on Monday was very depressing, this new clip brightens everything up. Now we can have both styles without having them clashing in any way and that's something to look forward to.

at first i was upset that they split. but hearing this makes me realize that it was probably for the better considering that they wanted different things. i loved panic"!" at the disco. i only like panic at the disco if that makes sense

Ooh, I like it. It's like the exclamation point is what makes them good. I like their stuff on a fever you can't sweat out better than on pretty. odd. And now that they have the exclamation point back again i like them again. I always typed the exclamation point anyways. XD
