Calfornia-based prog-ska quintet Rx Bandits are finishing up work on their new, currently untitled album, that's set for release later this year on Sargent House, but if you're like us, "later this year" is too dang far away. That's why we got the guys to hook us up with this exclusive peek at the making of the album. It's just enough to whet your appetite.

Oh SHIT! There are few bands who keep sounding so FRESH and VIBRANT album after album. Those Bandits are at the top of that list. I can't wait!

this truly is a tease to THE most anticipated album of the year in my opinion .. excellent, HONEST music at its finest.

I agree with everyone that's already posted above me. I also just signed up to encourage more RXB content being posted. Hope to hear a full studio recording of a new song soon. If anyone hasn't already, check out live vids for "Don Pedro", "Buff Costello", and "Bol Wevil" on youtube. Pretty decent quality.

Their last three albums, especially Resignation and And The Battle Begun, were excellent. I've listened to them countless times. Their live set at Bonaroo was also sick - they combine the musicality of jam bands with punk-like intensity.
It's hard to see how they could top And The Battle Begun. But they've certainly surprised in the past, especially in their metamorphosis from ska to awesome. This is my most anticipated album of the year.

I need this album to be out now. I've started having dreams with the band in them, and i don't think its gonna stop until i have the album.

This is not only a good video of their work in the studio, but a good showcase of their new tracks. I'm so psyched for this album. I hope it blows my mind as well as their previous ones.
