Saves The Day announce first album in five years, drop single

Saves The Day announced their first new album in five years and shared the first single from it.

The new track “Rendezvous” is one of the nine songs on the band’s ninth album, which is appropriately titled 9. The new record will be a follow up to the band’s self-titled album from 2013.

“This album is the story of Saves The Day and my own personal journey through life, which all unfolded as my relationship with music progressed,” lead vocalist Chris Conley says.

“Rendezvous” is a self-reflection about the craziness of Conley’s life in Saves The Day.

“I’ve gone through all the reflecting and growing and come to a place where I’m so grateful and so satisfied and living the life I want to live,” Conley says. “I was just a kid that got lucky, and I got pulled into this amazing dream. And it’s still going.”

You can listen to “Rendezvous” below.

The new album 9 will be released Oct. 26, and you can preorder it here and check out the full tracklist below.
