Love, Death and everything in between.

Aqueduct - Or Give Me Death

[3.5/5] The loopy sounds of Aqueduct still musically reference kindred spirits such as the Flaming Lips and the Postal Service, but on David Terry and gang's third disc, they make great strides in mashing it all up into their own brand of tweaked pop-so being compared to other bands is one less thing Terry can think about. Just as well, because he's busier than ever delivering deliciously pissy sentiments about the crappier side of love over layers of pianos, synths and drums (check out "Unavailable" and "With Friends Like These" for proof). More electric guitar breaks up the mix and even mariachi horns pop up in "As You Wish," one of the best-if, uh, only-songs inspired by The Princess Bride. Being bent out of shape never sounded so good. (BARSUK) JR Griffin
