Apollo Sunshine runs the gamut of rock music from Wilco-esque ("A Finger Pointing At The Moon") to boxcar blues ("Today Is The Day") to the, well, just plain weird ("Phony Maroney" was inspired by a dance move the band created). But regardless of what subgenre they are tackling, the common thread here is that the band are clearly having fun romping through these 13 tracks-and what
Apollo Sunshine may lack in cohesion, it more than makes up for in spirit.
