The Fucking Wrath - Season Of EvilPosted by Rachel Lux on 17-Jan-08 @ 07:49 PM

"The Fucking Wrath is out to destroy everything." Or so it says on this upstart crust-sludge trio's MySpace page: "The end of your life will be but a speck in our all trampeling [sic] awesomeness upon the decadently delighted forgotton [sic] souls of many." Which is to say this: When you're feeling burnt out on all your Tragedy and Severed Head Of State records but just cannot get enough of the relentless, "all trampeling" [sic] gallop that is the D-beat (see Discharge's Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing-or the intro to Diamond Head's classic "Helpless"), proceed directly to Season Of Evil, in which three dudes from Ventura, California, unload a cavalcade of said beats and a torrent of thick, ugly riffs from the collective back catalogues of Motörhead, Black Flag and Tragedy (duh) in an effort to bring said awesomeness to said souls (of many).
