Living With Lions are streaming another new song titled "My Winter Vacation." It's one of the three tracks on Some Of My Friends Appear Dead To Me, their 7-inch EP due out July 9 on Pure Noise Records. Pre-orders have launched at Merch Now.

The Postal Service have premiered a new music video for their latest single, "A Tattered Line Of String."

The single appears on the 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition reissue of the band's classic album, Give Up, as one of two newly recording songs among 15 bonus tracks.

Everyone Dies In Utah have announced that they've parted ways with former bassist/vocalist Justin Yost, and Michael Crimlis (formerly of Us, From Outside) has taken his place

"I used to be the vocalist for another band on Tragic Hero, so I've been labelmates with the EDIU dudes for a while and I was always a big fan of their style," Crimlis said in a statement. "When I was offered the position to be their new vocalist it was pretty much a no-brainer." 

According to former vocalist Yost's updated Twitter bio, he is currently working on a solo record.

The song "Final Thoughts" from Major League's latest album Hard Feelings is a reflection on what truly matters in life. 

"When I'm laying on my death bed, it's not going to matter what kind of car I'm driving or how big my house is," says ML guitarist/vocalist Brian Anthony Joyce. "It's the experiences and memories we've made that I get to take to the grave with me. If all of this ended tomorrow than we've been extremely blessed with the opportunities we've been given. That's what both this song and video mean to us."

Twitching Tongues have released a music video for the title track to their new album, "In Love There Is No Law." You can watch it below and pick up the single on a 7-inch (limited to 500, with an exclusive B-side) at Closed Casket Activities.

The album itself will be available in August through the label.

Paramore have announced they will be performing at Teen Choice 2013.

The show will broadcast live August 11 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

The band will be playing "Still Into You" from their self-titled album that was released via Fueled By Ramen in April.

AP and Spotify have partnered today to bring you the first listen to Pick Up Your Head, the latest album by AP Recommended artist Middle Class Rut.

Vocalist/guitarist Zack Lopez says that his childhood played an integral part in the formation of the album.

"My Dad is a Mexican immigrant from Mozambique. I grew up having to wrap his legs in seaweed bulb strands because his blood flow had diminished due to diabetes. The walks from the beach to his bedside felt like miles, and he'd scream, "Recoge Tu Cabeza!" over and over. I never knew how to speak spanish.

"In between the last tour we did as part of the No Name No Color campaign and the first studio sessions we had going into LP2, my Aunt Betty mailed me a box of Hi8 video tapes. Most of them were snuff reenactment scenes from the Nic Cage movie 8MM. Everything else was clips from my childhood. That began the inspiration behind the concept that would become Pick Up Your Head."

The Body Rampant are streaming their debut single "Underachiever" on Soundcloud. The Los Angeles-based alternative indie group will release their first album, Midnight Mayfair, on July 16. It was produced by Brian McTernan (Circa Survive, Thrice, Polar Bear Club) and is available for pre-order here. 

The album is a concept record about an "alternate universe that a man enters after he dies." The masks shown were designed by artist Duane Flatmo and represent the various characters that come to life at midnight in the fictional town of Mayfair, hence the title.

Today Sony Pictures announced that two more Spider-Man movies will follow next year's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The third installment will hit theaters June 10, 2016 and the fourth film will open May 4, 2018.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the follow-up to 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man, is currently filming and will once again star Andrew Garfield as the web-slinging superhero and Emma Stone as his leading lady Gwen Stacy.

The Amazing Spider-Man grossed about $35 million dollars on its opening day, setting a record for the highest Tuesday opening. The movie went on to make $750-plus million worldwide.

It's official: The much talked about Boy Meets World spinoff is coming to television. Disney Channel has given a series order to Girl Meets World, which centers on Riley Matthews (played by newcomer Rowan Blanchard), the daughter of Corey and Topanga, played by original cast members Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel. The series is set to begin filming this summer in Los Angeles and is expected to air next year.

Savage and Fishel will also be reunited with Boy Meets World creator/executive producer Michael Jacobs. Fans can also expect to see William Daniels (that's Mr. Feeny to you), at least for the first episode. Rider Strong, who played Corey's rebelious best friend Shawn Hunter, and Will Friedle, who played Corey's kooky older brother Eric, have been spotted on set as well.

Girl Meets World is set in New York City and follows seventh grader Riley and her best friend Maya, played by Sabrina Carpenter, as they navigate middle school. (Sound familiar?) Cory works as a history teacher at the girls' school, and Topanga owns an after-school hangout. 

Here's what Jacobs had to say about the show in January to The Hollywood Reporter: "The appeal to me was exactly the same appeal that I had in doing the original, which is that I look around at the landscape and I look at my children and what is on television for them, and there are very few shows that are like this, what we aspire this show to be... The thing that delineates this show is that I don’t want this to be anything except the natural experience of actually growing up in this current world... The stories we intend on doing are stories about a real girl who is coming of age. The beauty of this show is the girl will have two parents whom the world has already watched come of age and their natural confusion in the next step of Cory and Topanga’s own evolution: being parents. I’m looking at what the condition of the world is right now for kids who are growing up, and if we can offer the same sort of guidance and entertainment that Boy Meets World offered, then the show is a good thing to do right now."

The 5th annual Epicenter Festival in Irvine, CA has announced that The Offspring, A Day To Remember, Bad Religion, Pennywise and All Time Low are among the bands that will be playing the festival.

Other acts include: Pierce The Veil, Falling In Reverse, and The Wonder Years.

The 1-day festival will take place September 21, 2013. Pre-sale tickets will be available June 21 at 10 AM, PST.

The creators of Guitar Center Sessions are musicians themselves, so they have a very clear goals in mind when it comes to their nationally aired program: The want it to be the best sounding music show on the air, they want to give artists a platform to expose their music and they want to bypass the usual sensationalist television schtick.

“We wanted to make this show about the art,” says Executive Producer of 'Sessions, Dustin Hinz. “We're musicians so we [wanted to make it so] when you watch the show, you're actually inspired to pick up an instrument.”

To do that, they recruit artists that, as Hinz says “have a sincere level of musicianship.” And if you want to find artists that still play their instruments and write their own songs in a musical climate saturated with vocal-based pop music, you need look no further than our scene.

“Bands like Frank Turner and Asking Alexandria and Alkaline Trio [who are all featured on this season of Guitar Center Sessions] are inspiring the next generation of musicians the same way that a guy like Joe Walsh might have—a nd to this day still does, but definitely did back in the ‘60s and ‘70s when he was the same age as the bands today.”

Today, we’re giving you a preview of this Friday’s session, featuring Alkaline Trio with a performance clip of their classic and fan-beloved “Cringe,” the opening track from the band’s debut full-length, Goddamnit!.

“[Cringe] is a pretty fun, high-energy tune, and the few fans we had at the time [we released it] really responded to it,” says Alkaline Trio vocalist/bassist Dan Andriano. “I love playing it to this day because it reminds me of that energy and the connection we began to share with the crowd, which is something we've strived to maintain to this day.”

Of collaborating with Guitar Center for the session, Andriano adds:

“Besides stopping by multiple Guitar Centers on every tour we've ever done, we were fortunate enough to do "Live At Guitar Center" last year. It was an acoustic performance and fun, but we were excited to come back for a full plugged in set on Guitar Center Sessions around the release of our new record, My Shame Is True.

“We are fans of the show and it was on our wish list, so when the opportunity came up, we jumped on it. The performances of the new songs are the first time those were played live, actually.”

Browne continues, "'Prophetstown' is a song about being torn between two things that you love which are in diametrical opposition to one another, being thereafter unable to reconcile the two and in turn resenting both.  In my case, it’s my friendship, home life, and comfort versus the prospect of playing in a punk band all over the world."

Additionally, in their announcement post, the band formally introduced fans to their new drummer, Dennis Wilson, formerly of Every Avenue, who joined in May and has been touring with the band already this year:

Last week, we announced that I See Stars are among our cover artists for AP 301, our Warped Tour 2013 issue. Today, we're happy to debut their new song, "Violent Bounce (People Like ¥øµ)" from their upcoming album, New Demons.

"This track is about being in the presence of people who don't understand common courtesy. They've completely lost the ability to treat people like human beings," says drummer Andrew Oliver. 

"We all have differences that set us apart from one another, but I take pride in my open mindedness and my unconditional honor towards lifestyles I don't necessarily understand. I appreciate the truly remarkable, mature, considerate, connected, gentle people I've met in my journey. You just have to learn from every experience you endure, good or bad. I'd like to say I am happy all the time, but there's lot to learn by getting through the dark side of the spectrum."
 

New Demons is out August 13 via Sumerian Records, and according to Oliver, the band have "opened ourselves up on this album in a totally new way. Some of these songs between my brother Devin, Zach and myself completely illustrate the events of these last years."

Worthwhile have released a music video for "Melody, Save Me." Their debut album, Carry On Kid, will be re-released on July 16. It was produced by Sam Pura (The Waiting Room, the Story So Far, Touché Amoré) and remixed/remasted by Jay Maas (Have Heart, Defeater, H20). InVogue Records are launching vinyl pre-orders sometime today, Monday, June 17.

Tampa, FL's the Nearly Deads have signed with Standby Records, who will release their Zombie Survival Guide EP on August 20. Nashville-based producer Jon King (Augustana, 3 Pill Morning, Throwing Gravity) returned to work with the band since recording their previous EP. The band's 2011 music video for "Never Look Back" went viral, racking up almost 5 million views since its premiere.

Of the signing, the band said, "We were very excited when Neil (Sheehan, founder of Standby) initially approached us about signing with Standby Records. We are a driven band and we only work with people who have the same passion for our music as we do. After hearing everything Standby had to offer and their vision for our band, we were convinced that it was the right move. Milwaukee, WI's Heavy Heart are streaming "Empty Arms," the title track to their full-length album due out later this year. They enlisted the Color Morale frontman Garret Rapp for guest vocals. You can stream the song on their BandPage.

Davey Suicide has announced the Hide Your Morals summer headlining tour with support from the Bunny The Bear and the Defiled. An AP 100 Bands You Need To Know artist, Suicide will be supporting his debut self-titled album released in March, which we premiered here.

Paramore have posted footage shot in the studio while recording "Still Into You," the second single from their latest self-titled release.

Of the video, singer Hayley Williams said, "This is literally the entire first vocal take I did for "Still Into You" in the studio last year. I took it on my iPhone and was saving it for the right time to post. Hope you like it! Sorry about all the weird faces and the dancing awkwardly all by myself."

Such Gold have released a music video for "You Are Your Greatest Threat (The Doctor Will Serve You Now)," the closer to 2012's Misadventures. In lieu of Father's Day, it stars most of their dads living a day in the band's shoes. Read a message from SG followed by the video below.

"Touring is fun but can be hard, especially without the support from our dads. For Father's Day, we thought we'd do something extra special for our dads and give them the chance to live a day in our shoes on tour.

Former CKY frontman Deron Miller has released a solo version of CKY's "Dressed In Decay," which is streaming on Soundcloud/Spotify and available on iTunes.

Miller will be releasing a full-length acoustic album of CKY, Foreign Objects and Oil songs in September as a result of his successful Indiegogo campaign.

Issues have posted an announcement video for their new permanent drummer, which can be seen below. Josh Manuel has been chosen to replace Case Snedecor, who parted ways with the band last month. Manuel, a native of Atlanta, GA, has produced videos for frontman Tyler Carter and Issues prior to joining the ranks. Catch the band out on the Vans Warped Tour (Jul. 24-Aug. 4) before they head to the UK in September.

Hailing from the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvannia, I Am King have joined the Velocity/Rise Records rosters to release their debut full-length album on Oct. 15.

Owen has completed his third Daytrotter session, in which Mike Kinsella performs his entire new album start to back. L'Ami Du Peuple will be released July 2 on Polyvinyl Records.

"In the past I've stifled a bunch of my influences and leaned on a couple consistently, but this time I just let each song happen as I heard them and had a lot of fun trying some new things," Kinsella said of the effort.

Hellogoodbye are running a promotion on Facebook where they're giving fans a free download of Did It Kill You? in return for sharing the page. The effort is an acoustic re-working of tracks from their 2012 release, Would It Kill You? See more about the session in the video below.
