For most people, a vehicle is for getting from point A to point B. It’s for everyday activities, and maybe the occasional road trip. For touring bands, however, a vehicle is much more than that. It’s where they eat and sleep. It’s where they spend most of their time. It’s their home. Spending endless hours in one vehicle can be wearying, and so some bands have taken to customizing their rides to make life on the road a little easier. They’ve added beds, electricity, showers and other amenities to make traveling more comfortable—and cheaper.
