Valencia tour blog (part 2)

So another week is down on the Reason To Believe tour, and that means I'm going to put some of the pictures I took up on here so you can see for yourself what's been going on. Since last week, we've been in Raleigh, North Carolina; Columbia, South Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; and Jacksonville and Tallahassee, Florida. The shows have been going great, I got to see my cousin for the first time in a while since she works in Columbia, a hurricane almost ruined some of our Florida shows (in the end, one had to be cancelled because the roof of the venue collapsed in the rain), and Matt Pryor from the Get Up Kids and the New Amsterdams played a show after our show was over one night. Right now we're in Nashville at Shane's brother apartment hanging out for the day before we head over to our show at the Muse, but before we go out to the show, here are some pictures from last week...

The brewery in Raleigh, one of the first clubs we ever played when we started touring. Now we're back!

Sweet merch this tour, Delicious makes it look good.

Before every show, we play X-Men and Frogger to loosen up. It keeps the fingers fresh for guitar playing.

This is Chris, our tour manager. He doesn't know what he's gotten himself into.

Sweet kids in line in Columbia, hanging out when we got there.

Lovin' it.

Single File, one of my new favorite bands. Make sure you check them out if you get a chance.

Sing It Loud.

Matt Pryor is playing the same club as us right after our show is done!

Whoops, didn't see you there.

Our new best friends.

Pat from Sing It Loud singing with us at the end of "The Space Between."

This last picture isn't that good but it's the only one I got of Matt Pryor's show in Columbia after our show was done. His new solo CD is awesome and on this tour he is playing songs from every project he's been a part of. Check it out if you get a chance.

That's it for now. I think we're out of the woods when it comes to having to worry about running into hurricanes, at least for now, so we won't have to worry about shows being cancelled anymore or anything like that. Tour's been a lot of fun though, and it's been awesome seeing the kids coming to the shows and singing the words to the new album already, so keep it up. We still have a couple of weeks to go, see you guys out there.

-George
