Automatic Loveletter Tour Diary (Part 1)

So we played Chicago last night, which was rad!..and freezing..and a little scary but anyways that night we drove half way to Cleveland got to the hotel at like 5 a.m., slept for 2 hours, got up at 7:00 a.m and drove the rest of the way to Cleveland, Ohio.

We arrived at the venue, Agora Ballroom, at 10:00 a.m for a photo shoot with AP magazine:] immediately I was awakened by Daniel (drummer for A.ll) saying get inside for make up and hair, so I zombied my way in sick, tired, hungry and FREEZING my ass off!

Did hair,did makeup, got dressed and took pictures until around 3:00 p.m, which happened to be our sound check time. So then I ran outside to meet the boys, help load in and set our gear up. As I'm setting my amp down I noticed something was missing--my mic and cable box! Turns out it was left in Chicago. awesome.

So now at this point, I'm pissed, still haven't eaten, can't feel my toes, have an itch on my back that I couldn't reach (and wouldn't go away) and I have a sound guy asking me to line check my guitar. grrrrrrrr!!!! So we finish sound check and I finally get some food in me :D

Full and a little bit happier I go down stairs to change. Daniel comes down a little later and says, "Dude, go upstairs and check out how many kids are here!" I run upstairs to find the floor swiftly filling up!:] all in all we played a kick ass show, the crowd was AMAZING!! And I got off stage sweating and beaming!
