Automatic Loveletter Tour Diary (Part 2)

Automatic Loveletter frontwoman Juliet Simms checks in from the road...

So last night, we had a 300-mile drive to our hotel and we ended up leaving the venue at 1 a.m. Yay. Around 2:30, we got pulled over and our awesome merch guy didn't have his drivers license on him and our trailer lights were broken. On top of those two things, we couldn't find our van insurance. Uh-oh...

So we got a ticket and were told by the officer to pull off at the next exit and that if he saw us driving again he'd pull us over...again.

So we pulled off and two hours later, our amazing tour manager/drummer, Daniel Currier, fixed the trailer lights and we continued on. After watching like three minutes of The Office, I passed out. It was one of those night's sleep where you wake up every 20 minutes and don't know if you were actually sleeping or not.

Anyways, whatever.

At 6:30 a.m., we pulled up to a Starbucks, ran in, peed, Daniel grabbed a coffee and we jetted out again. We finally arrived at the hotel at 10 a.m., ran in and took showers and then packed all our shit up to leave. We still had four hours of driving to Atlanta.

Well, four horus turned into seven. Awesome.

We got to the venue, loaded out quickly and had sound check. As I type this, I'm sitting backstage at the Masquerade with my boys in A Cursive Memory and the Friday Night Boys. We're playing Call Of Duty 4 and listening to A Cursive Memory's new music  while they listen to mine. :]

The show is filling up and I can't wait to play!
