You, Me And Everyone We Know Tour Diary (Part 3)
Sleep when you're dead.

Don't worry about that cough you've been developing, just find the rest of the corn whiskey and bring it back to the hot tub. I can't begin to explain how awesome this last week has been. I totally forgot to mention in my last post that our friend Hanna is singing the female parts with Forgive Durden on this tour. She joined up after the crazy as hell Philly show I mentioned and she's been doing the fantastic job we knew she would ever since. It's really fun to have her around and I'm glad it worked out the way it did. Speaking of singing with Forgive Durden, I started singing "The Spider and The Lamps" with them over the last week. The time signature is pretty crazy, so it had a few bumps the first few nights but I think its going great now.
We also returned to Chicago after not really touring the midwest for six months. I decided that this night, which is probably going to turn out to be one our biggest draws of the tour, was the perfect night to get a new tatoo. Jaren, FD's number, was more than happy to facilitate this. We started the outline around doors, which was 6 o'clock. The buzzing didn't stop until I had to walk on stage. It actually didn't hurt as much while we played as I thought it would This is what we have so far, we have to wait two weeks to color it in:

Now, if you're ever in St. Louis, do one thing. It's called City Museum. Words like eight stories of jungle gyms, slides, ball pits, tubes, caves, and themed rooms all made out of found and recycled objects don't begin to describe what became my favorite day in the history of being a touring band, so I hope some of the footage in this video helps.
We're gonna be in that southwest for a few days, so get on your sundresses and cowgirl boots girls... and guys...where something that breathes. It's going to be a hot one.
