New shows, stat!

Put Your Real Life On Pause: You may or may not have realized that after about 65 seasons, ER is finally looking at its watch and calling it. Why ER is ending, we can't be sure. It was ER that made me want to be a doctor (we can all see how that turned out), but never want to go to a hospital because I knew what was going on behind-the-scenes (holy love triangle, batman!). So while we still have some time, I wanted to prepare you for the two-hour season finale on April 2. George Clooney (Doug) and Julianna Margulies (Carol) will be back! And Susan Sarandon and Gilmore Girls' Alexis Bledel will also make guest appearances in the finale (though their characters are supposed to be introduced in next week's episode on March 12). Speaking of ER, I hear Chris Brown and Rihanna have reconciled, so in the spirit of forgiveness, let's take this week to reconcile with the shows that may or may not have assualted our intelligence (or our faces) in the past. It's time to put it all behind us, and watch....
Monday
The Bachelor (8 p.m. on ABC)
It's the finale, so if there's a time to watch the Bachelor, it's now--even for those of you with commitment issues.
Tuesday
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (12:30 a.m. on NBC)
Goodbye Conan, Hello Jimmy. That's right, Jimmy Fallon is officially taking over for Conan O'Brien this week. (I guess you could start watching on Monday, but I don't want to be the guinea pig.) In some ways, I feel like Fallon's had enough chances, but let's just give him this one. Besides, Tina Fey is his guest and we know we can count on her to be funny.
Wednesday
America's Next Top Model (8 p.m. on CW)
Usually I like to watch America's Top Model only in marathons, but this week's two-hour premeire kicks off a whole new season. Tyra Banks annoys the living daylight out of me, but let's watch it for Miss J.
Thursday
The Office (9 p.m. on NBC)
That's right, the Office is in need of forgiveness. That past few episodes have been downright disappointment, and quite frankly, they've built us up to expect so much more from Michael Scott & Co. I want things to be the way they used to be, so since it's a Valentine's Day episode, I'm going to give them a clean slate.
Friday
Oh, who are we kidding? There really isn't anything good on Friday night this week except for Ghost Whisperer, but I'm so behind on that show that no amount of DVR-ing can help me. So this week, trade the small screen for the big screen and see some of the Oscar-winners (or should-have-been-winners) or rent Beverly Hills Chihuahua, like I will be doing...
As always, let me know what I missed (or should have missed). Happy Watching!

Alexis Bledel will be on ER? I'll be looking forward to that.
And I stand by what I said a few blogs ago, The Soup is a great Friday night show. Plenty of laughs to end a week off.
You pretty much rock for having ran phillips in your poll this issue.
