Worth losing my voice over...
Thanksgiving weekend was pretty good on my end... I got to see my fam, a couple of really great friends, and of course, ate way too much amazing food. Of course, no late-November trip on an airplane (or four planes, as the case may be) is complete without a raging cold. Check and check.
On top of the nasty cough/cold action, I exacerbated the situation by screaming my head off during the Nebraska/Colorado football game on Friday (another Thanksgiving tradition). Lemme put this in terms that you may be able to understand: The Huskers and the Buffaloes get along like Bert McCracken and Gerard Way. So beating them is a pretty big deal. Pay close attention to the time/scoreboard in this YouTube clip, and you can share in a little of my excitement...
PS: The cold isn't any better today, hence a day full of good-bad TV, hot tea, chicken noodle soup and Vitamin Water. I'm also currently watching the MTV documentary, Britney: For The Record. And I'm not ashamed to say that it's pretty interesting. Let's just say that I'm perfectly happy knowing I'm never going to be famous.

I'm stoked on Penn State, my school, going to the Rosebowl. It's been a long time coming. I must say I saw that game and kept thinking "hey isn't that the team Rachel from Alt Press is all over?" So I rooted for Nebraska.
Dear kapy53:
You are my new favorite blog reader. Ever. (Sorry, Mom!)
xoxo
Rachel at Alt Press who is definitely all over "that team"
you're a geek, and I love you for it.
