I'm gonna write a more fleshed out blog later tonight, I think, but really quick -- how incredibly awesome is that new Weezer video, anyway? I love it! It might actually be my favorite video of theirs they've ever shot, and the scene at the very end where they pump their fists in the air triumphantly gives me chills in the nerdiest way possible. Goddamn, I love this band:
Also, as a follow-up to my last blog, lest you doubt I actually was a moron and wore shorts to a night baseball game in 50-degree weather:

Scott, you are so right about this Weezer video - I'm sorry I have gone so many days in my life without having watched it... Like a crash course in pop-culture, or at least as if sub-pop-culture crashed into an awesome band's music video... hmmm, that made sense in my head.
Also, many of the defining years of my life were spent listening to POD (and Limp Bizkit), but I won't take it personally, au contraire it explains so much... haha
I heard Pork and Beans and got really excited for the new Weezer album but after hearing those other tracks on that leaked promo cd, I lost all of it... I just can't get back into this band. I tolerate them for a bit but their not one of my favorites...
I will say though that the new video is fun.
