I saw Cursive tonight. Holy hell, they were awesome. They sprinkled five new songs into their set, my favorite of which has been titled "What Have I Done?" by fans online. Stop whatever you're doing and spend the next eight minutes watching a video of this absolutely incredible song. (This video isn't from tonight's show, but this performance is easily on par with tonight's.)

they actually played in my area of the world on this past Thursday...but I couldn't go because of my very own Bachelor party...i wanted to go...i guess I really should have...
Last year, right as Cursive was about to go into the studio, they did an interview and set on Sound Opinions, playing all new songs. They sounded incredible, making me really want to hear the record. Now seeing this video makes me really impatient with hearing the record . . .
I never really listened to Cursive before attending the show this video was taken from but when they played this song for the first time ever in a tiny club in Madison I was floored. Tim Kasher's performance nearly brought me to tears which is no easy feat or any band,especially one who I was hearing for the first time.
new Cursive is even more awesome than Happy Hollow, which i loved. totally agree. i am so stoked for this record.
