I'm jealous!
I didn't go to any shows last year! In fact, I haven't been to a show since I went to Cornerstone in 2001. I was, however, in Cleveland the night of that Less Than Jake/Goldfinger show at the House of Blues on July 8. And my wife's cousins actually went to it. So that's something, I guess.

Last year I was lucky enough to see The Big D/Goldfinger/Less Than Jake tour not once but twice over the summer. I also got to see some of my favorite bands for the first time including Alkaline Trio, The Gaslight Anthem, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Cursive, Atmosphere, the Hold Steady and The Loved Ones. It was a pretty good year.

Didn't get to see nearly as many as I wanted to, but with high gas prices and a low-income job, driving the two hours to LA regularly is slightly impossible. And I had a ticket to see New Found Glory/ISHC/Four Year Strong/Crime In Stereo show, but ended up being violently can't move from bed please just hand me a bucket ill on the day of, so I skipped out.
So jealous! I'm from Chicago but I go to school in Mississippi which cuts down on the amount of concerts(no bands come to Mississippi, ever!) But I was at Warped, same as you, and saw Say Anything with their all-stars. Cobra was amazing too.
My favorite show was Envy on the Coast @ the Metro, days before my birthday. Even though they were only opening, it was still great to see them after two years. Plus I got to meet Ryan, Jer, and Sal which made my year :)

My favorites would have to be driving 12 hours from San Antonio, TX to Lawrence, KS to see MCS headline one last time before they go record a new album (because every other time I had seen them, they weren't headlining and due to Hurricane Ike, I couldn't drive to New Orleans to see them because I-10 was blocked up with traffic) and flying to CA to follow the last five days of Warped in a van with 8 other friends to see my two favorite bands, MCS and RBF, play at Warped.
