Total Request Dive

Wow.

What a week.
My hometown Pittsburgh Football Steelers bad-assed their way into the Super Bowl and the two-hour season premiere of Lost was on last night, once again providing me with six weeks of reasons never to leave my apartment again ever.

And I heard something about a new president, too.

All good stuff.

But, hey. I come to you today looking for some suggestions.

I don't know if you've ever noticed The List On AP before, but it's a sweet, weekly countdown-type guy that the editors at AP put together for your webjoyment (that's in no way a word, and by no means should it ever be).

I'm putting together a Valentine's Day-themed list for February and I'm wondering what you guys would like to see.

How about something like: 9 Bands Who Will Never Be On A Valentine's Day Playlist? (That's not a good example, thus the reason I'm coming to you.)

Get back to me?
I'll be the guy in the Steelers jersey watching last night's Lost while researching more about this whole president thing.

I go to PSU, so I wanted a PA bowl just to watch the drunks fight afterwards. With that said how about bands you don't want to see play on valintines day? Or songs that hate valintines day? There is an outkast jam that works in the last one.

How about songs to avoid if you are single on Valentine's Day?

Also, GO STEELERS!!! I've been a huge fan since the Kordell Stewart days in 97. It's gonna be a sweet, sweet game.

How about nine unconventional love songs? You could include "Muskrat Love."

I guess that's a pretty terrible idea. Really, I just wanted to mention "Muskrat Love."

9 relationships that ruined a band? You can't say John Lennon/Yoko Ono though. Way too trite.

How about a list of duets? I know it's completely cliche to actually think of love on Valentine's Day, but also, why the fuck not?

Case in point: Forgive Durden, ft. Greta Salpeter "It's True Love." You cannot deny the beauty of that song.

Ah yes, wonderful Lost is back. I had a headache after watching it actually. They are so very good at answering a few questions only to leave you with 50 billion more and then the whole time travel thing...head...hurtsy... x_x

And as for the Valentines Day issue, for all us wonderfully good looking but unfortunately single people (myself included), I would rather not be reminded of it. So I guess I am in agreement with punkwhitechocolate on listing some bands that won't make you feel lonely on that cruel, cruel day...*sniff*

If you ever do plan on making that list, be sure not to forget Bring Me The Horizon.

Er...hm...what about a list of bands we should avoid listening to on Valentine's Day? or like, the 9 worst love songs ever list?
