The Maine soared into 2008 capturing the attention of and pleasantly surprising every indie-pop-rock fan that was fortunate enough to be in their path. Named last year as one of the "100 Bands You Need to Know in 2008" by Alternative Press, the guys have since swept across thousands of stages and airwaves into millions of eardrums all over the globe, proving the statement accurate.

From the very start, the Tempe Arizona natives have been busy making many friends, and touring many cities, sharing stages with The Academy Is, We the Kings, Family Force 5, Forever the Sickest Kids, Boys Like Girls, Good Charlotte and Metro Station. The Maine has also rocked the 2008 Vans Warped Tour and continues to amaze and impress fans across the globe with their impressive energy and unique style.

"Can't Stop, Won't Stop," the Maine's debut album which came out last summer continues to top charts and steal hearts, along with their most recent holiday EP "…And A Happy New Year," which was released in December 2008. For The Maine, in 2009 it only goes up from here.
