Everyone knows Las Vegas is the place you go to lighten your wallet, but with the advent of bands as diverse as Panic! At The Disco and the Killers, who knew Sin City was going to be the next music hot spot? Well, you can add the Cab to that list of Vegas notables forging their own sonic path. Their 2008 debut on Decaydance, Whisper War, was a culmination of styles incorporating everything from speedy pop, smoove R&B hooks and some full-on fretboard gymnastics usually heard at a metal show going on in a bad part of town. Prior to the launch of the 2010 AP Tour, the Cab--singer Alex DeLeon, guitarist Bryan Dawson, drummer Alex Johnson and keyboardist Alex Marshall, fortified on tour by bassist Joey Thunder--are readying the follow-up to War. We're hoping the disc gets released before the Tour begins, but like you, we'll be happy hearing new Cab jams though a big-ass PA system, as opposed to some wimpy 'puter speakers. Now go get some dancing shoes, peeps. You know you're not going to stand still for one second of their set when they roll into your town...
