AP: So, Patricia, is it just the three [band members] this time or are you bringing extra people on tour with you?
DAY: We usually bring out our dancers, yes.
McCOY: And they are fantastic, I might add. Are they the same dancers?
DAY: Actually, no. We swapped dancers a year ago. One thought she was getting too old, which was kind of a mind-blowing thing for me. And the other wanted to get, you know, a proper life. You know, with a job, and a car…
McCOY: Oh, boo. That's so lame. A proper life, what's that?
DAY: [Laughs.] So we brought in two new very young girls that can do all the bouncing stuff for us that we sometimes feel too old to do.
McCOY: Are they as hot as the other ones?
DAY: Hotter.
McCOY: Yessssss......
DAY: That's the point, man, that's the point. We can stand there and play like shit and people will still be looking at us.
McCOY: I think that's why Gwen Stefani has the Harajuku girls, but you guys are the exception because you actually play very well. Not to say that she doesn't, but you guys are great.

McCOY: Awwww, no. We love Gwen.
Obviously, you folks have done Warped Tour and in a lot of aspects, that's a lot of fans' only exposure to a big punk-rock show-just being bombarded with the stuff.
McCOY: Exactly. It's not just going to see one band. It's a whole fucking smorgasbord of whatever you want. I think Warped Tour's stood the test of time; it's kind of what kids look forward to for summer. When I was younger, I looked forward to it, you know. It's crazy that it's still around and people are as excited about it as they were five or six years ago. I remember being a kid, "I can't wait to get my Warped Tour tickets, I can't wait to get my Warped Tour tickets," and it's always been, like, a little something for everybody.'
DAY: When you bought Warped Tour tickets, how many bands did you know on the bill and how many new bands did you learn about?
McCOY: It's funny: I'm still in love with Deftones. The Deftones are one of my favorite bands-Deftones and Pennywise were the only bands that I cared to see. The year I went to see Pennywise and the Deftones, I was a kid and Blink-182 played. Not to say that was insane, but it's weird to see; they were just a small band on a small stage. I think Kid Rock played, and next thing you know, these bands are huge. So you never know what you're going to bump into at Warped Tour and who's going to be the next big thing. ALT
